Welcome to my updated website.

It’s half-way through 2024. After retiring in February, I find myself so busy I don’t know how I ever managed to teach full-time. In May, I participated in the 49th annual Lambeth Art Association show and sale (https://www.lambethart.com/). In June. I donated two pieces to Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre’s Chicken Challenge silent auction fundraiser (https://creativeartscentre.com). I also placed three pieces in the gift shop. Also in June, I had three pieces accepted in the Art Gallery of Lambeth’s, cleverly titled, “Little Black Frame” juried show and sale (https://www.artgalleryoflambeth.com). This show continues on to the end of July.

I am active in the Gallery Painting Group’s weekly paint outs. Drawing rather than painting of course. I have a couple of pieces on the go – a large-horned ram and a killdeer – that are destined for the GPG’s October show and sale. ( https://www.gallerypaintinggroup.com/ )

London Artists’ Studio Tour 2023

After a year off, I am back on the Tour. The 2023 London Artists’ Studio Tour takes place April 28, 29 and 30. This three-day self- guided Tour offers the public an extraordinary opportunity to meet local artists in their working environs and learn more about their creative processes. As always, the tour is a free event. Friday, April 28 is opening night. Between the hours of 7 and 9:30 p.m., tour-goers have first choice of the artists’ works. The Tour continues Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 30 from noon to 5 p.m. For a map, visit: https://londonstudiotour.ca/

Northern Cardin-Ale City Bird Beer

I am honoured to have my art featured on Northern Cardin-Ale City Bird Beer and proud that the proceeds from its sales will fund bird conservation activities in London. As a coloured pencil artist, my focus for many years has been local birds. This is a real “feather in my cap.” Also happy to confirm that the beer itself is delicious.
